Which brings me to the question of the day: Where were you this weekend?
At Coachella? Coachella? You ask? Yep, The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival often known as Coachella festival, Coachellafest or Coachella. For those who may not know, it is a three day festival of arts and music celebrated yearly at the Inland Empire's Coachella Valley in California featuring well known musicians such as Prince, Beastie Boys, Duran Duran, Jay Z to mention but a few. It was founded by Paul Tollet which i think is a very successful, smart way of celebrating and bring together the different genres of music such as indie, rock, electronic music and hip hop.
Well as for me, i was not at Coachella or any desert in California nodding my head to some hard core rock music......oh and not even in the States at all this weekend. I was up north in Gravenhurst, Ontario which is nicknamed, "Gateway to the Muskoka Lakes" doing some grocery shopping.... it was freezing cold and snowing up there in mid-APRIL!! Sounds like fun to you? So not Coachella.. Right? Well, contrary to what everyone at Coachella was wearing i had to throw on a sweat shirt that happens to be my go to apparel right now. It keeps me warm underneath my favorite black leather jacket from Dynamite.
This is my first time in Gravenhurst and i am loving it..okay minus the current weather. I will be bringing you all along as i explore this cottage city.
So do share, where were you this weekend?
Kindly excuse the blurry photo.
