ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK // ACCESSORIZING A BOLD PRINT ASYMMETRICAL HEMLINE DRESS

Make me stop wearing this orange pumps by Charles David or orange period and see how interesting that may turn out. I know you recognize those shoes but it has been a little challenging not to wear them. Not that orange is my favorite color but if you have never noticed, go to the mall and count how many purses, belts, dress, shoes, etc are orange in color or have some orange on them. You may be shocked how much that attractive color has taken over the earth this summer. Or may be i am the only one that happens to gravitate towards anything orange or with orange.

Why fight a good thing when it is easier to work around it?

This bold print strapless summer dress with asymmetrical hemline is the perfect summer dress to show how accessorizing while still keeping the orange to a minimal or slightly toned down. Hint?

PLAY WITH COLORS.

For the first look I picked out a color on the dress to help decide on what color of purse would be most ideal and i chose white. The only thing i would change is the gold strap of the purse. I wanted a silver strap because it matches my silver necklace, silver earrings and silver nail polish. One thing you  really don't want to do is a jumble of too many colors. Things could go wrong pretty quickly.  Since the necklace and earrings were silver, it inspired the color of my nail polish but i chose a lighter shade of green for my bracelets instead.

The second look was really more about toning it down just a liiitle bit by pairing the dress with a black clutch and while still keeping the same jewelries i had on in the first look. The only other thing i changed was the nail polish. I had to go green to keep things alive and fun. A pop of color somewhere on you is always definitely a great idea but choose wisely. My green idea came from the dress.

Sometimes a very subtle look makes a big difference.....Maybe? Or is this just another excuse to wear orange again ;).
