When the lovely folks at HSN (Home Shopping Network) asked me to share who inspires me as a beauty icon, i knew this would be an awesome topic many can relate to. It is funny no one has ever asked my that until now and i am happy to share.

I often notice a dullness in my skin and an uneven skin tone during a change in weather, lack of sleep, or not eating healthily. Sometimes all of the above. This summer, for instance, after moving back to the city from the snowy mountains, i was so busy with settling in, my skin started to suffer. It suffered so much, i got called out on it by a beautician. Finally, i realized it was time to get back that Janet Jackson kind of glow on my skin and also even out my skin tone. So i got a skin cream by Clearessence that evens skin tones which of course i was already familiar with. In addition to that, what did i do differently this time? Well, with the help of my Clearessence facial wash, including more vegetables such as, collard greens in my diet, taking my vitamin supplements daily and indulging in some herbal tea- "Triple Leaf Tea Detox" (Cleansing & Revitalizing), i saw a change in my skin in no time.
At the end of the day, i found out the best beauty routine anyone can possibly ever have that won't cost a thing, is smiling. We all know Ms Jackson has that figured out already. Her smile lights up her face and an entire stage.
