Vintage fashion is undeniably and unapologetically a fashion statement. If you think only short shorts and crop tops are the only pieces getting some attention these days, you are dead wrong. Wake up y'all, it is a new era. Vintage style or retro style has become so popular in this era- Thanks to ladies like, Kate Moss and Dita Von Teese who celebrate vintage fashion by wearing incredible vintage pieces today. Sure vintage style is not for everyone but if you get me, i am sure you will understand me when i say, if i had a major event like a horse racing event, this would have been the perfect dress for it. Styled with a lovely hat or fascinator and some pearls draping down my neck would have been awesome, but since i wasn't, i kept accessorizing minimal because the dress itself is enough statement on its own.
I am sure by now, you all know i am not one to shy away from wearing vintage pieces every now and then. Obviously when my darling friend, Sovanny, who i met through blogging opened her very own Australian based e-boutique store, reached out to me for a collaboration, boy, was i honored by this gesture. I'll be crazy not to show her some love and support. Her store is called Mode Madison e-Boutique and it is has some really fun, creative, colorful and cute pieces. We initially met via instagram when she started her journey online to blog for a whole year without buying any new outfit, and she did it!! I followed her journey as she inspired everyone through her style but even more entertaining is her lovely little daughter who never fails to outshine her mom with her "mini-me" outfits and cuteness. She is such a beautiful blogger, mom, entrepreneur, inside and out. Stop by her blog to see where it all began and view her e-boutique to see what cool pieces she has in store.
Thank you all for stopping by. Now your comments.
