After such a busy weekend, my birthday had to be pretty mellow. Ugh, i was exhausted, but i couldn't be happier to be surrounded by loved ones. Now i am just starting to recover from an exhausting few days, but will be catching up with emails, comments and everyone as soon as i can.
Contrary to the past years of Labor Day kind of weather, it was surprisingly a pretty sunny warm day for once on my birthday. In my opinion, there is nothing casual about a red dress. It is a strong color, it is out there and i love the color on pretty much anything. Since i just wasn't in the mood to dress up to go anywhere, i tried to keep it casual by styling the red dress with a pair of tartan print ballet flats, but for this shoot, i wore the flower crown.
Although, i had no intention of dressing up at all that day, i thought i could at least dress up the LRD for you all to see. So to justify the simple and cute little red dress, I decided to take it from that casual summer sweet look to a bit of an edgy chic look that is great for a pre-fall day or evening in early September. In less than a minute i was able to achieve the look, but definitely with the help of a couple of key pieces -Faux leather gilet, studded ankle strap heels and an animal print patterned clutch.
If the Little Black Dress and the Little White Dress can have their own twitter account, the Little Red Dress sure can.
Will be sharing my wedding guest outfit soon!!
Thank you all for stopping by. Now your comments.
