I WORE MORE MAXI SKIRTS UNTIL MIDI SKIRTS TOOK OVER | A-LINE

A-Line Floral Print Maxi Skirt x Floral Print Top
I think sometimes we lose ourselves in what is trending now that we tend to miss wearing what we wore out of our own personal love. You know, pieces we used to love wearing when we wanted to wear anything? I love trends but i am also a lover of classic styles and pieces that come from way back, when TVs were only black and white.

I was thinking about what to wear the other day when I realized i hadn't worn an A-line maxi skirt in a minute. It took this lovely floral print skirt to inspire this simple look. It is a very simple look in the sense that, I didn't accessorize much. After pairing the dark blue colored skirt with another orange floral print top for a day out, it reminded me of the fact that a maxi skirt is pure elegance. It makes me feel taller and sure makes an excellent wardrobe staple.

Trending or not? Says who? They will always be trending and even if they didn't i will wear them in summer, winter, spring and fall because that is just how resourceful they are :).

Am usually not a big fan of pretty loose skirts and very long, lol but you are right trending or not you should always wear what you love.

I'm not a trend slave either so even though the world is going gaga over midi skirts, I'm pretty happy with minis and maxis :) You look great btw!

The way you paired that lovely maxi skirt with a bright orange top is brilliant!!!!! I really do like those heels and bag...you look totally gorgeous and phenomenally stylish.

I do agree with you...it's fun following trends, but we must not forget those pieces that we always loved because there must be a reason why we loved them in the first place, right?
