I really appreciate the invites and like some of you would expect, that I should be selective of what events to attend. True, true, true but I have to admit they are all so worth attending. I promise. I honestly learn a lot from attending these events. They have helped me broaden my knowledge about the fashion industry, blogging, event planning, marketing and more. Then I come back to share it with you all. While in some cases, they have inspired some business and blog ideas, I also leave with tons of style inspired topics for the blog, such as:
"What I Should Probably Not Have Worn To That Fashion Show"
"Why Does Everyone But Me, Wear Mostly Black To Fashion and Blogger Events?" Hahaha, true story!
Anyway, I was invited to Expedia Canada's 15th Anniversary last week but unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond my control, I couldn't make it. You all know how much I love traveling and this sure would have been a great opportunity and lots of fun. Yes, I was a little bummed about it but there will always be another. Meanwhile, I try to plan out my outfits before the event day and for Expedia Canada, it was a cocktail party. I find to be a bit of a challenge deciding on a cocktail outfit in fall because cocktail to me, is looking sexy-chic yet classy but when it is cold outside, you are limited.

So my cute little bitty dress came a size smaller than I wanted but it still fits on the body but not so much on the shoulders. Thanks to my petite frame or else, eeek!! It actually comes with a lace up in front but I decided to add a printed scarf to make the dress pop a little. Now I just need an airline to hire me cause the moment I saw the photos, I immediately thought, aah, Air Hostess! Love it!
