HOW TO: KID'S OREO BIRTHDAY CAKE MILKSHAKE WITH COCONUT WHIPPED CREAM TOPPING

It's a party when you have a great venue, the right food, the best guests, the perfect drink and the list goes on. My little girl is a toddler now and you know all she ever talks about is birthday parties, picnic parties and anything that ends with parties. It is my job as a mom to keep up with kids party themes, ideas and how to impress picky little munchkins like mine.

This month, Gay Lea asked us to share some of our summer treats inspired by their award winning lactose-free coconut whipped cream. Yes, coconut folks and it is made with real coconut cream! Ironically, I enjoyed coconut as a kid until one day I did a whole 360 degrees change of attitude towards it. Suddenly, I didn't want to have anything to do with it anymore, BUT weirdly enough, I continued to have coconut flavored foods and drinks. Now who is the picky one, right?

I am dairy friendly but my tummy isn't. Luckily for my daughter she is still lactose tolerant and her favorite cookies and ice cream is the Oreo Cookies and Cream. So I figured, why not combine both to make a milkshake. Milkshakes are so easy and when you have the ice cream in birthday cake flavor, you know, your life just got even easier. Coconut and chocolates are great combo and it isn't a milkshake without the whipped cream anyway.

What You Need:
1. Gay Lea Coconut Whipped Cream

2. Oreo Birthday Cake Ice cream

3. Milk
4. Milkshake Maker/ Machine (A Blender also works).

How To Make the Milkshake
Step 1: Scoop ice cream into the blender cup
Step 2: Pour milk
Step 3: Turn on your machine to let it mix for just a few seconds because you really don't want to keep it running longer than that. It will turn watery and blah! The kids would appreciate a few bites of cookies in their milk shake i am sure ;).
Okay, let me just confess that cup of milkshake in the picture below with the most whipped cream was mine. I am totally a whipped cream girl especially if it is super creamy.
