As we get closer to the more colder days and definitely colder nights, the need to put on some extra fabric has become a necessity to stay warm. Layering can get a little awkward sometimes but after years of living in a cold country i learned to layer to my taste.
It was one of those fairly warm days of Fall when i took these photos and we had taken the car for servicing. So what does a blogger like me do to kill time? Shoot outfit photos!! Hahaha. #bloggerproblem. Oh boy, it takes forever sometimes :)
I know i am no J-Lo or Beyonce but trust me the curves are there ;). Which is the more reason why i have to layer according to my body shape and size so i don't get lost underneath all those fabrics. To achieve a very simple basic layering yet flattering look, i chose to start off with my stretchy, floral print sleeveless top for a shapely effect underneath whatever i wear on top. Plus i wanted the prints to show underneath it all as a pretty overlay while it hugs my hips. Then, i threw on a short sleeved crochet which i would admit is not necessarily warm but it makes me feel somewhat covered in the upper chest area and shoulders. Also, i love the fact that it happens to look rather unusual but nice. Finishing up the look with a cream colored gilet and knee high boots over a pair of orange fitted pants gave me the result i was going for. It seems so easy said and done now until it falls below zero degrees and all the curves are thrown out the window? Hahaha.
Thank you all for reading. Now your comments.

Oh layers, i hate them. I tend to get lost with them. It is so important not to lose your shape with the pile of clothing that we have to wear during A/W season.
I love your scarf, the colour is very pretty
