I have always tried to keep a positive attitude about life and tried to see things from a brighter perspective. Unknown to me in the beginning but i later realized my choice of outfits often reflect my attitude. As you can all tell from a lot of my outfits published here on my blog, i tend to wear a lot of colors: Bold and soft. Prints and patterns: Bold and small. Every outfit has a story and some sort of inspiration...or maybe it is just me.  Afterall, it is a personal style blog.

My point here? You ask?

Our emotions do reflect in our choice of outfits and it doesn't really matter what it is. I personally don't think there is anything wrong with that. Personal style is like a language and sometimes others may not get it. In fact knowing and loving our "imperfections" is walking in our own truth. I recognize mine. Hahaha, oh yeah. When you first lay eyes on this jacket i have on, what is the first thing you see? The colors, then the patterns? Or do you see the patterns first before the colors? No? What if you look closely at the patterns? Do you notice the broken abstract squares? The first thing i noticed was the color but fell in love with the patterns instantly. The prints on the jacket are often known as houndstooth, dogtooth and if they are smaller, they are called puppytooth?  Noticeably though is how a simple yet broken set of squares can make a whole lot of difference in the way you look. In all of its pure simplicity, i paired it with a pair of denim pants and faux leather peplum top but the jacket seems to take the cake. With the temperature dropping fast each day, this fancy little piece makes me so warm it tickles my soul.

Thank you all for reading. Now your comments.

colour grabs my attention first but the print are just amazing. I love houndstooth but i had no idea that the smaller ones are called puppytooth. I learned something new today. Our mood definitely reflects in the outfits that we wear at least mine does. I mostly wear black or dark colours which i'm comfortable with. But if you see me wearing pink or hot colours that means i am in a really good mood and a bit adventurous :D

Darling you look gorgeous as always! Awesome coat. First thing I noticed? Well to say it's the pattern would be as wrong as to say it's the color. Yeah I know it doesn't make sense, lol. On this particular coat I noticed color and pattern at the same time. First thing I thought was wow! hounds-tooth in mint. How gorgeous. See what I mean. Anyway have a lovely Sunday darling.
