My day was spent with my family. We are still discovering the beauty of Alberta so we decided to visit Canmore which is half an hour drive from Kananaskis. I was already told it was a pretty town, but i was in awe when i finally saw it with my very own eyes. It is definitely a gorgeous little place.
I kept my outfit simple- I have had this carrot orange blazer and pointy orange pumps for a while now but they always seem to go with a lot of my outfits. Pairing a striped shirt with a blazer or jacket and a pair of dress pants is always an easy stylish look. Yaay? Considering the fact that this post is loaded with so many photos and stories to tell (Be warned.... i couldn't help myself), i will have to do more on Canmore, Banff, Calgary and many more beautiful cities/towns around here as time goes by in future posts. I promise, you will not be disappointed.
How many of you remember the tragic flood that happened in Alberta? It wiped out so many areas here and unfortunately the whole of the Kananaskis Country Golf Course wasn't saved either. We decided to stop by to see what was left of this very beautiful place with one of the most amazing natural views i have ever seen yet. It was impossible to leave without capturing this view on camera. Thanks to William. Just being here at this very spot humbled me and seriously, i am so, so thankful. Also thanks to my new camera lens that i have come to love so much. It simply opened up my love for photography all over again. It takes some magical photos that you may have seen a lot more on my instagram page and it is so user friendly for a rookie like me. It is the Canon 50mm f/1.8 II. It is the absolute perfect Christmas gift and only great lens under $100 on Amazon for anyone. I don't work for Canon, this is just my opinion and i am so pleased with the results. Well, enough said. I will let you enjoy these photos.
What are you thankful for?
Thank you all for reading. Now your comments.
