Really, over sized knit chunky sweater? You ask?
I know, i know, i know. I think we all have a little man repelling in us, and outfits to match. I would wear an over sized "grandma sweater' to curl up at home with a hot cup of tea or coffee, no makeup, messy hair, all that, and be okay, but when it comes to styling it out, it can be a little challenging. This colorful retro-fly knit sweater is one, but i just really couldn't resist the pretty colors. A little bit of creative styling, accessorizing and a little oomph might just do the trick. So for this look, i styled it with a maxi skirt instead of a no-brainer-slim-fitting-bottom...just for a change. So what i did was, i used a belt to cinch my waist to show some curves and minimize the chunkiness of the sweater a bit. Now i may just start looking at a "Grandma Sweater" a lot more differently now.
Meanwhile, i went to one of my favorite spots for photo shoots -The Distillery Historic District in Toronto to shoot this outfit and just while i was wrapping up, i saw a lady who looked quite familiar heading my way. Lo and behold, it was the one and only Brenda from "Can Never Be A Skinny Bish". Another fashion blogger like me, only that she is famous and i am not, but apparently we have been in contact with each only through social media. We've been following each other;s blog and on social media, but never met in person ( I have never met a blogger i know, period). So imagine the excitement. We hugged and laughed and laughed and teased about shooting with tripods and people watching while we shoot ourselves. Oh, it was just so nice and refreshing to meet someone gets it. She was definitely just as adorable, sweet and as real. It was so nice meeting her i just had to share. Hope to meet more in future.

Looking so elegant and beautiful.
I don't even think of a grandma sweater when I see this. All the colors remind me of Christmas. Cheesy I know. I love chunky knits especially for the fall. Wear a tank top underneath and you're toasty warm! Your cat eye sunglasses are awesome. Where are they from?

Haha, Brenda told me about the meeting. I was suppose to be there but I fell pretty sick so I had to back out. I really need to head out there. And we need to meet up as well, Hopefully, things will settle down, lol. Are you going to Fashion week?
Aww, you are so sweet Adjoa :). Thank you so much. I got it from Forever 21 for $10 (Canadian). So it may be cheaper in the States.
