If there is an accessory (besides my handbag) that i find to be very stylish and super resourceful, it is a scarf. I have never not owned a scarf since i was a little kid, regardless of what time of the year it is. I think i just appreciate them now more than ever before. Obviously, during fall and winter, they become a necessity.

While my knit scarves are usually my go to around this time of the year, i knew a printed silk scarf will be better styled and more appropriate for this look. After all, i am only wearing a classic buttoned down white shirt that happens to be satin and a pair of black pants that happen to have wide legs. It really can't get easier than that, but a scarf adds a lot of femininity to it. I like that it totally gives more to the look than just  the classic white shirt and black pants attire.

I tied it into a bow around the the collar of my shirt so it could fall playfully on my chest.

And if wearing a hat is not cool enough, how about tying the scarf around my head?

about this look I have much to say:)

First I must stress that like yourself I adore scarves...for me they're the ultimate accessory- so easy to turn them into a belt, a nice decoration for our bag and as you have pointed out they can be used to cover our head ( they look cute as turbans tpp) scarf is something that not only covers our neck area but can really be used in a dozen of ways ( love that belted scarf trend)

That all being said, there is something very chic and feminine about a scarf...When I tie a scarf like you have, I feel almost like I'm wearing a tie- you know what I mean? Yesterday when I took my professional exam, I wore one just the way you did- and with wide leg pants...the colours were different and I wore a turtle neck but now that I think of it , my yesterday's outfit resembles yours.

Anyhow, I think this scarf look fabulous both ways and infuses this elegant and fabulous black and white combo with a welcome pop of colour and uniqueness.

team scarf:) that has a lovely ring to it, right?

The scarf, the sunnies, the fedora, the clutch, those orange shoes, all give your classic look an oomph girl!I love the versatility of a scarf. I use skinny ones as belts sometimes. I love how yours doubled as a head wrap. I'll have to try that although with little or no hair on moi head I worry haha. The look is very uniquely you Busola, I love love it!

Loving this scarf. I'd probably wear it around my neck as a cute bow, as I'm not so brave to create a head scarf, but it looks beautiful!
